OpenStreetMap (OSM) is a collaborative project to create a free editable map of the world. But there are many wrong and incomplete map information in this map. The goal of this project is to download one part of the map(here is Beijing) and then clean the map data for data analysis. In details, parse thoes data after downloading, and then audit and clean those map data, try to fix some data problems like wrong way names, wrong phone formats as well as cuisine names, etc.. Next the cleaned data was saved into database, and the a lot of interesting analysis can be done by using this database.
